It was a truly meaningful event.

Back in 2005 I was able to meet the girl that I sponsor through the same organization. Fortunately she and her family (as well as everyone I worked with in Jacmel at the Hands and Feet Project) all survived the 2010 massive earthquake.

If you’re looking for a way to sponsor and support a child, Compassion makes it easy. It’s an incredible investment to make in a little one’s life, and then when you travel you can plan to meet them. It’s an incredible opportunity to make a difference in this world!

On our honeymoon in Tanzania (Tanzanie in French, and our tour guide and company spoke French with us) we had action-packed safari adventures. I was filled with glee to see green; not only in the lush gardens and plants around us, but also in the form of recycling bins like this one!

Not only that, the roads through the Serengeti are still not paved in order to be more animal and eco-friendly. Bien joue Tanzanie!
